Here's what to expect after submitting your request—and how to keep things moving smoothly.

Thank you for submitting a service request with Encinitas Plumbing.

We receive multiple requests each day and process them in the order they are received. Below is a quick overview of what to expect next and how to help us move your request forward as efficiently as possible.

How We Handle Incoming Requests

All service requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our team carefully reviews each submission for completeness before moving forward. This ensures we provide accurate estimates and avoid delays once your project is scheduled.

Please Allow Time for Review

We understand you may want immediate confirmation, but calling right after submitting your request to check if it was received does not move your request ahead in the queue.

Repeated follow-up calls can actually slow down our ability to review and respond to all incoming requests in a timely manner.

We appreciate your patience while we work through the queue.

What Happens After You Submit

Once your request reaches the front of the queue:

  1. We review your submission - we check all provided details for accuracy and completeness
  2. We may request additional information - photos or clarification may be needed to properly assess the situation
  3. You receive your estimate - estimates are sent via email and text message
  4. You review and approve the estimate - simply follow the instructions provided to accept
  5. We schedule your appointment - once approved, we will coordinate scheduling based on availability

How to Speed Things Up

The more complete your request, the faster we can process it.

To avoid delays, please:

  • Provide clear, detailed descriptions of the issue
  • Upload photos whenever possible
  • Include model/brand information if applicable (water heaters, fixtures, etc.)

This allows us to prepare accurate estimates without unnecessary back-and-forth.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

While you’re waiting, you can review these helpful guides to prepare for your service:

  • Faucet replacement preparation
  • Garbage disposal replacement preparation
  • Water heater service preparation
  • Drain cleaning preparation

When Should You Contact Us?

If your situation becomes urgent or changes significantly, please contact us.

Otherwise, we will reach out as soon as your request has been reviewed.

If you were unable to upload photos when submitting your request, you can send them to us now to help speed up the review process. Please email them to us or text them to (760) 642-6702, and be sure to include your name so we can match them to your request.
